It's hard to find any info on this TV because it's a Canada-only brand. Daewoo is the parent company, so if you search for Daewoo LCD TVs, you might be able to find out more about them. I saw one and thought the picture was great! Its contrast ratio is 1:1000 and it has a response time of 8ms. These are impressive specs for a 32" LCD in this price range. Costco is going to have them $200 off in a couple of weeks. This will make the price at Costco $1299 (CANADIAN). There is not another 32" LCD that even comes close to that price ~ I for one am getting one!

I went to Costco and saw the LCD TV. There also were JVC, Viewsonic and other brands. Daytek LCD TV was second to none when compared its picture quality and design. The price? gee....I was short of $200, I am waiting for my next pay cheque to buy myself a nice LCD TV for my apartment.

I just bought this tv yesterday and I think it's great. I asked around and somebody told me that you can bring your receipt back to Costco once the coupon comes and out and get your $200 back. I thought about waiting for the coupon, but this is the same deal.
I just can't figure out how I can wall mount this. Can anyone help? There aren't any apparant screw holes in the back to know where the screws would go. Plus I can't figure out how to remove the attached stand to do this. Maybe I'm just scared to wreck the unit. |

I checked this TV at Costco Ottawa. The label shows the contrast ratio is 800:1. Picture was bad because they put a normal video signal in. I asked them put in a DVD signal. The picture got lots clear with dot noise. After changed to component video in. The picture was very good. Unfortunately, The picture was shrunk to the middle of the screen, They can’t make it enlarge to full screen. I don’t know if it is a bug, or because of the signal of the DVD player.
I’m looking for a TV support international color NTSC/PAL/SECAM input. The Dayteck support told me it is supported on the TV, but the manual only says: video input: NTSC The price is great without the coupon. You can’t find this deal even in China. |

Thanks for the tip about the mount. I'll try to search the forum out to see. Either that or I'll goto the Daytek site.
Thanks. |
